Best Hair Thickening Product for Men?
I'm not losing my hair, but it's just always been thin, and I'd like it to be thicker.. I don't need anything to regrow hair, so no Rogaine recommendations, please.

A Really good one is Dax Wax, Its really strong, lasts all day and doesnt make your hair look/go greasy (if your careful).

I am looking for a better product to use in my hair. I do somewhat of the messy look with medium length hair. I like for my hair to have some shine, with a slightly spiky/Wet look. I don鈥檛 like for my hair to be sticky or crunchy.
I have found several products that Accomplish this, but here is the kicker, I drive a convertible and am looking for a Product that will not look bad after I drive with the top down.

hey, im looking for a strong hair product for men.
gel just doesnt work, i dont like it, it gets hard, flakey...i hate it
i tried american crew fiber, stuff is pretty good, i liek the texture but its not strong enough, i have to use too much, and when i do it doesnt mix in ur hair well and shows.....disregarding the cons, when i just finish doing my hair, it looks great, but then like an hour later, it doesnt look the same, my hair moves, etc
im looking for something that once i finish doing my hair, it stays that way, and its been really hard to find because i have straight hair, so unless i style it where my hairs are straight, the product im using doesnt hold enough.
i dont want something with a lot of shine.

Gillette makes a really nice styling putty that you might try. I don't know if you've tried putty instead of gel, but it's good stuff and has a different texture than gel - not as stiff. Good luck!
I work at a salon %26amp; i would DEFINITELY say try ';bumble and Bumble Styling Wax'; or BEDHEAD Manipulator.
check them out online and see how they might work for you. they're strong yet not flaky. they keep the shine of your natural hair, not overly shiny. they hold the style and are multiuseful for all different styles and types of hair.
i like bedhead products but i LOVE Paul Mitchell products..they have something for everythign and their stuff smells great and gets the job done...i always use their stuff when i need something done with my hair..hope i helped..=)

I am fourteen, and I want my to grow faster, but I don't want to take anything that is made for women that can mess me up in any way. so try this...regular trims are a must, about every 7-9 weeks.(if your hair is really healthy then up the trims to about every 12 weeks, a trim is just a snip off the ends) if its been awhile since you have had a trim then inches may be called for to get to healthy hair. i use vitamin e on fresh washed hair.(its a vitamin that can be purchased where you buy vitamins, cut open capsule, squeeze into hand, rub hands together and apply to hair) dont message into scalp. if you get too much then just rewash it. hair will feel slightly sticky until dry then it will be nice and soft. it tames the frizzies, deep conditions and makes hair grow about three in a month. it takes about a month for the growth part of the e to kick in. the other benefits are instant. dont brush your hair but maybe once a week to message the scalp, i use a wide tooth comb at other times. brushing breaks off hair. i just started biotin vitamins going on four months ago this sat and notice and big growth spurt from that. biotin is cheap and also promotes hair regrowth and growth. i also have the biotin shampoo that i got from a vitamin store online.(puritans pride.com or vitadigest.com) five bucks for a big bottle and a big bottle of E is about 8 bucks. the biotin is about 3 bucks. i now take my fingers and message my scalp about five times a week, along with the brushing thats a good way to do it without damaging your hair. apply two or three capsules of e to dry hair and message into scalp and hair really well, put damp towel in microwave for 1 min to get hot, then quickly wrap head, a dry towel can be placed over that to help hold in the heat, leave on for 15 min, shampoo well, makes an excellent hot oil treatment. good luck, AND some people will argue about regular trims, your hair does grow from the roots, yes, but if your hair is not trimmed at the bottom, the it splits, get dry and brittle not to mention thin looking from no trims at all and frizzy. then your hair starts to break off at the bottom and giving you the appearance that it never grows. so to make hair grow as fast as possible and keep it healthy, then trims are an essential part of hair care. look on a ruler and check out less then half an inch and if your salon does not know what that is then take a ruler with you, i have. as of three weeks ago adding beta carotene vitamins to my regimen. i found out that along with the biotin it is very very good in promoting hair growth. they were five bucks for a bottle of 100. got them at walmart. the biotin and e can also be purchased at walmart, and adding all this up is pretty cheap to get great hair. i just wish the shampoo was available in the stores, but not yet.What is a good product (for men) that makes hair grow Faster?
Any vitamin you take can cause those symptoms. I was taking prenatal vitamins before I got prego and I had no problems with them. Just don't take them on an empty stomach.

Whether you take pills or use a different shampoo your hair will grow at the same speed no matter what. I'm a guy and I've tried everything to make it grow (biotin pills, deep conditioners) you just have to eat healthy, hair is made of biotin and you need protein for your body to make it. Fatty acids like omega 3's and try not to do too much damage with straightening irons/color. Eat Lean meats, etc. And make sure you get at least 8 hours of sleep per night because your hair grows most when your asleep.

I have ingrown hairs...in a really bad spot on my body. Its quite painful and they seem to get infected really quickly . I dont shave there, so not sure why I get so many and why so badly . One, when men look at their hair they tend to think it's much darker than it really so 9 times out of 10 they choose a color that is too dark and looks unnatural. Most people see them as red or orange. To avoid these unwanted tones you will want to use a color line that is geared specifically towards men. If you use a product like ';Just For Men'; or ';Grecian Formula'; you need to understand that these color lines contain metallic salts. Without getting too technical just understand that they can react with the minerals in the tap water (Softened or otherwise) and turn purple. Ever see that old guy in church whose hair looks dark as night with a very odd purple hue? Yeah, you're gettin' the picture!
So, I would recommend that you find a stylist in your area that is familiar with Redken Color Camo. It is a great men's color line that is gentle and very natural looking. No one will ever know you're coloring your hair!

Would these products be such good sellers if that many people had an adverse experience? When you start looking for them, you will see how commonly sold they are and how many varieties are sold...this should tell you something.
Go to the salon. Their produst is a lot better for you than the stuff you buy at Walmart or the Drug Store. Plenty of men go in for color and gray touch ups. This way, a professional can look at your hair and know what a good color match is and also know a product they can use for the best results.

im looking for something that once i finish doing my hair, it stays that way, and its been really hard to find because i have straight hair, so unless i style it where my hairs are straight, the product im using doesnt hold enough.

the way i style my hair varies but i typically do messy/spiked sometimes just spiked in the front, sometimes i go with the fohawk, usually a mix...my hair is longer on top and shorter on the sides

Gillette makes a really nice styling putty that you might try. I don't know if you've tried putty instead of gel, but it's good stuff and has a different texture than gel - not as stiff. Good luck!
I work at a salon %26amp; i would DEFINITELY say try ';bumble and Bumble Styling Wax'; or BEDHEAD Manipulator.
check them out online and see how they might work for you. they're strong yet not flaky. they keep the shine of your natural hair, not overly shiny. they hold the style and are multiuseful for all different styles and types of hair.
i like bedhead products but i LOVE Paul Mitchell products..they have something for everythign and their stuff smells great and gets the job done...i always use their stuff when i need something done with my hair..hope i helped..=)

I have ingrown hairs...in a really bad spot on my body. Its quite painful and they seem to get infected really quickly . I dont shave there, so not sure why I get so many and why so badly . Alright dude I got the same flat, boring hair. I spike it in the front, or sometimes all of it. The product you need is TRESemme Styling Gel. It needs to be firm hold. Its in a tube, and it's liquid. Sometimes I also do the Robert Pattinson look (yes I can pull it off .) For that you need something strong and sturdy. I use AXE messy look for that. Its hard like wax. Its in a red container. Hope this helps my friend.

Would these products be such good sellers if that many people had an adverse experience? When you start looking for them, you will see how commonly sold they are and how many varieties are sold...this should tell you something.

My hair is very curly and it has good control without making it really stiff, sticky, or flaky. I also have used herbal essence and finesse mousse, but both of those have a slight fruity smell. My brothers have used all 3 of the same products, but they tend to go with gel simply because their hair is shorter. Hope this helps!

First, I would suggest you use a stiff brush and some hair pomade. brush your hair really well and tie it down firmly at night with a do rag. ( This usually works if you keep your hair cut short to give you some wave in you fade,) Do that for a at least 3 days brushing and greasing daily and see if that will give you the results that you desire. If that doesn't work, what you are looking for is not a relaxer, but a texturizer/wave kit. Soft and Sheen By Carson has a line of products, like moisturizers for a different hair types in the black community. The S-Curl texturizer is good for men. Also, you can go to the local stores, like Wal-Mart in the black hair section and find some products, probably near the relaxers. My brother used the s-curl and it worked for him. Hi since my hair has been longer I have been slicking it back using hair dressing like pomade and jellies.I like the way looks its just it's so hard to wash out and feels so dirty.My question is there any like other products that give you that wet look and hold the hair without all the mess of hair grease.I don't want any hardening gels but is there any types of moose or anything.Hair product for men for slicking hair back?
yes! try bedhead after party. It makes your hair volumous and it slicks back your hair as well! you can get it at any local drug store and it makes your hair smell nice too, and it really works without any grease or hardening. Hope this helps.

I use clay for my hair to look professional too. Just be sure to blow dry your hair before applying and rub the clay on your palm gently to avoid it from being too sticky once applied to your hair. I'm a cosmetologist and I would have to say any kind of wax (use sparingly), for a strong hold hair glue (Got 2 B), or hair putty. None of these products should make the hair look greasy if you don't over do it.

Bed Head hair spray called hard head. It works beautifully for fine hair. It won't look wet and it should stand up great. You will need to spray a little into your hair as you are trying to make it stand up. Then go from there to see if you need more spray or not. This product is not messy or gooey. I think you will like it especially if you never tried a spray before.
Go for wax - strong hold if needed - maybe shock waves??
