I have naturally very thick and wavy hair. I straightened my hair a couple of times using those straightening creams. But they damage your hair. Specially for Men its not recommended to use harsh chemical creams for straightening, since men naturally don't have luscious and strong hair like women. I have been using L'Oreals Elvive Anti-breakage shampoo for a year now. It keeps my hair manageable since i wear my hair long.
So to answer your question. I cant comment on any specific straightening shampoo. But the Anti-Breakage Elvive Line of L'Oreal shampoo's are the best if you want straight yet healthy hair. Works for me atleast.

Is it wrong for a man to sit when he pees and wipe or use girly hair and skin products?
my friend said i was gay cause i sat when i peed and use girly hair care and skin products. Is it wrong for a man to sit when he pees and wipe or use girly hair and skin products? Is it wrong for a man to sit when he pees and wipe or use girly hair and skin products?
It seems to me that a fellow has a right to decide for himself how he wishes to go to the bathroom. And if you prefer to do so sitting down, fine. As far as what you choose for grooming products, hair is hair. Human hair is all pretty much the same, regardless of whether it sits on a male or female head. The companies aim the ads at women, because having more of it as a rule, we tend to do more with it and to it- and buy more of it. Again, what you chose to use on your head is your own business- it's not poll material. Your sexual persuasion has nothing to do with it. If we were talking to you about the choice between Alamay and Cover Girl makeup, then it might be a valid question. But toilet habits, hair and skin care products are your own business and that's what I'd tell your ';friend';. Perhaps if he were more secure in his own masculinity, he would enjoy taking care of himself as well and not feel compelled to take pot shots at your grooming habits. Is it wrong for a man to sit when he pees and wipe or use girly hair and skin products?
No. It's not even wrong for a man to be gay, anyway, but sitting down when you pee and grooming yourself doesn't make you gay.
No, men who sit don't leave the toilet seat up. You're only gay if you have a decided preference for having sex with men
not wrong at, actually kinda sexy...at least you groom yourself properly and clean ya self right...unlike other men and u r only gay if u chose to be not bc of stuff u do
In your other question you said that you wanted to get 'girly stuff' but didn't know how to ask your dad for it - now you say you USE girly hair and skin care products. What gives?!

Is There any Products out there For Thinning Hair. (man)?
Try nioxin. I work at a hair salon, and our clients swear by it. It's not like rogaine or anything like that, because other products will make any new hair fall out once you stop using it. Nioxin just helps your scalp natually re-grow hair. My boss likes to refer to it as a ';detox system for your scalp';.Is There any Products out there For Thinning Hair. (man)?

Man sick of his gel styled hair. looking for new product or style?
For years I've had the same hair style. My hair was short to med length, not long, and I would wear the bangs slightly up and spike the top of my head but push it down a little to take some height off, and because i hated strait up spiked hair.
Anyway, I'm sick of my hair and the gel that makes it look shiny, hard, and spiky. I'm looking for a new, shortish hair style that's easy to manage and a different product from gel that won't make my hair so separated, shiny, and hard.Man sick of his gel styled hair. looking for new product or style?

What hair care products are used for a black man if wanted to grow hair faster?
Use good products. KeraCare is good. What hair care products are used for a black man if wanted to grow hair faster?
I've got the perfect solution for you. It's an amazing organic oil that has been popular in Israel and Morocco for years and is now just starting to get recognition for all it's amazing properties. It is called Argan oil. This oil contains all the necessary vitamins and natural element to nurture, moisturize, and heal not only your skin, but hairs and nails as well. It absorbs into the skin very fast as well; faster than most creams and lotions. It has been used by the Berber women of Morocco for centuries for use in skin, hair, nail, and therapeutic treatments. It is the all around most beneficial organic on the planet. I grew up in France and have been using it for years. It is used by models over there, and is practicially found in every spa and salon. For some reason it only grows in Morocco making it very exotic. I found a website that had the most information on all its different uses. Their Argan oil is certified and deodorized(the natural smell of argan oil can be overbearing).
I contacted them and they said they start selling in two weeks, but you can register at their website for a discount now.

What product/method does anyone recommend for a man who wants to remove back and arm hair?
The less painful the better. I heard of a Nair For Men, but can't find it. Any products used by men (or women) that work well would be most helpful. What product/method does anyone recommend for a man who wants to remove back and arm hair?
This link has info on all types of hair removal:
http://www.hairfacts.com/methods.html
Also remember the following for most types of hair removal, but especially waxing...
';Some physicians do not recommend hair waxing for people suffering from diabetes or who have varicose veins or poor circulation as they are more susceptible to infection.
Users of Retin-A, Renova, Differin or Accutane are advised not to use hair waxing on the face as these medications tend to weaken the skin and tearing of the skin may occur when the wax is removed.'; ( Reference: http://ezinearticles.com )
-DON'T use lotions, oils, or anything with fragrance on the area for about 24hrs or more (before and after). Those kinds of things are one of the biggest causes of ingrown hairs, bc once you've shaved or waxed, especially when you've waxed, your pores stay open for awhile and those products tend to clog and/or irritate the pores, causing the new hair growth to go in the wrong direction - into your skin.
-Instead of lotions, oils, or fragranced products, use a fragrance free, cooling aloe vera gel, immediately after waxing and for a few days more.
-Be sure that the area is clean the skin is healed of any pre-existing conditions (if you already have a rash or skin problem, this could make it worse).
-If waxing, apply a bit of baby powder to the area being waxed to keep the wax from sticking to your skin as much.
- There are also special creams/gels that you can purchase at your local drug/beauty supply store that help prevent ingrown hair that you can use afterwards.
-The next few times you shower, use a loofah to exfoliate the area, this keeps things from clogging your pores and also helps keep your skin from growing over the open pores.
-Now, you may still get ingrown hairs, there are also creams/gels for treatment of ingrown hairs that you can also find at drug/beauty supply stores.
-Another thing you can do is use sharp tweezers to carefully remove the thin layer of skin from on top of the ingrown hair, once you've done that, you should be able to pluck the ingrown hair easily, afterwards, apply a little of the fragrance-free cooling aloe vera gel to calm the area. Removing the ingrown hair with tweezers should be done as soon as you notice it, otherwise the layer of skin over the hair may become too thick. What product/method does anyone recommend for a man who wants to remove back and arm hair?
Just wax it, it will hurt for a minute but it stays gone longer.
Waxing. I never heard of Nair for men, but I've used Nair on my legs and it's not much better then shaving.

Hair removable(permanent) products for man!?
I am not a hairy 37 year old male however I have a little patch of hair(in 2 spot) that keeps growing back rather rapidly after I use my electric clippers to remove it. Are there any products like a cream that someone who has used before and could recommend me to. Or if anybody has suggestions, please pass it on. Because I have very little hair, these spots stand out and actually look kinda funny or strange. Just want to get rid of them once and for all. Cannot afford any medical laser treatments coz those things run into the tens of thousands. Basiclly need something I can use at home. Seen afew commercials but haven't seen anything really out there for man. Also FYI, these patches of hair(s) are circular and about the size of the circumferance of a coke can.One spot is between my shoulder blades and the other is dead center on my back at about wasteline level. Thanks for reading and all the information you can give me!!Hair removable(permanent) products for man!?

If you want it permanently gone go get one of those lazer removals but they are costly.
If you want to take care of it in the shower without effort...check out
VEET..they come in a spray or lotion. Just wipe or spray on the spot..wait five mintues and rinse off in the shower..
permenant would be laser removal but other then that use nair for men.

What hair products and brand should I use for a longer men's hairstyle?
I'm looking for a hair product to use to help me style my hair like Taylor Kitsch or Jon Kortajarena when he had longer hair.

The brand doesn't matter just as long as you like the result it leaves but all you need is some gel or hairspray. Good luck

Why do commercials for hair growth products always have to show men on jet skis and in swimming pools?
Is this really necessary? And what the heck do jet skis have to do with hair growth? Why do commercials for hair growth products always have to show men on jet skis and in swimming pools?
Jet Skis make your armpit hair grow faster.
lmao.
jk.
idk.
i think it's stupid also. Why do commercials for hair growth products always have to show men on jet skis and in swimming pools?
Because men with thinning hair (when wet) usually shows thier hair loss to a much higher degree. And i guess they want to show you that thier product works so well that if the guy on your screen looks great with a wet head then their product must work. But the toupee argument makes sense also.
Same reason they always have smiling people driving cars or eating fast food. When's the last time you went to a fast food joint and the servers were friendly and the customers were overjoyed?
You're funny :)
Those are activities you wouldn't want to participate in if you were wearing a toupe - they are saying ';Look you can do these things!';
Maybe to show that it regrows chest hair also
Maybe because it makes your hair look darker? The darker your hair looks, the more it looks like you have?
lol, its true they do it, I guess to show that its so natural they it won't fall out while doing extreme sports.
But, wouldn't it sell better if they had a woman tugging on the mans hair, I mean after all, sex sells right?
Probably because toupees fall off in those kind of situations.
They want to show the men in situations that prove their new hair growth can thrive in any active situation that its users might have as part of their lifestyle. Hairgrowth formulas tend to be seen as ';old people products'; so a guy on a jetski or in a fast car, or in a swimming pool with good looking ladies in bikinis will convince younger men that it is cool to buy the product.
lol. I guess to show the way the water shakes off their fluffy full head of hair.
Cos they think the guys are hot with gorgy hair. They're actually b@ttys. They're all'; Ooh, look at me!'; and ';Oooh, do I look sexxy in this?';
Makes me crack up.
They want to show that (unlike a toupee), their products will not fall off.
It is to try to show how carefree you can be when you have hair. Plus when guys wear toupes I think they avoid that kind of stuff so it doesn't fly off and embarrass them. It is kind of like how magazines put hot women next to cars. Don't have a lot to do with it but it's like: If you buy this product, look what you can have.
Because only people with hair live the good life which include jet skiing and swimming with skinny models in bikinis.
LOL.....they are just stupid...half of that junk doesn't work anyways.....
i think most bald men can't jetski, b/c they get sunburned on their head.
lol to make them look sexxy

nothing helps if your going bald its just your life. your genetics and all the above. just deal with it your just weaker genetically than other men with good hair. your mom will still love you though and i suggest getting married before the whole transformation. good luckWhich products are most effective in preventing hair loss specifically for men?
There is some useful advice here.
There are none, but be thankful there are hair procedures like hair restoration that can take what hair you have left (from the sides of the head) and transplant it to the front and top. It won't be as much, but it will be yours.

What hair product to use for a man? ?
I have thin hair so need a dry based product that doesn't make the hair thinner/clumped like gel does. I prefer a matt/natural effect strong hold.
I have tried the odd wax product, but find it doesn't hold the hair all over in its style (short styled messy effect) and ends up making my hair look greasy, but if you know of a wax that isn't like that plse let me know!
I have been using L'Oreal Professional Deviation Paste which isn't bad, but I do find it isnt matt/natural looking enough.
Anyone got any ideas/experience with anything better/similar? Money isn't an issue for the right product.
Thanks in advance!

I'm a teenage guy with shortish hair at the moment and looking to get my hair styled. I've always had a standard hair style, fairly short and no styling at all.. but I want to find a new ';style'; but something that will look good with my face (long), be fairly short, and look good without using any styling products.

clean it up nice short and neat on sides and back, then jsut about 1 1/2 inches long on top so it will be a bit spikey, but will lay nice without looking all messy as longer toped hair does. Also less hair less to none products cuz your hair aint giong anywhere. And clean and short on dies and back looks great on men, shows they keep up with their looks and take care of themselves (good hygene is a must) Short hair gives that look CLEAN CUTNice short hair styles for men, without styling products?

Which hair-styling products are best for men with short, fine hair?
Title says it all really:
I'm 15 and have short, fine hair (not particularly thick but I'm hardly going bald - yet). Whenever I use something like Black %26amp; White or hair clay my hair just falls back into place and looks a little greasy. I looked into a tad and apparently its because the wax/gel/whatever is too heavy for the hairstrands.
I need something that I can style my hair with and that'll make my hair look a bit thicker - thanks. Fudge is apparently really good but I still don't know what type to get (mousse/gel/etc.) or where to get the stuff (my barber's sells one type I think).
Oh, and when I say short I mean my hair's an inch on top max. and shorter around the sides.
Thanks!Which hair-styling products are best for men with short, fine hair?
mousse is best for fine hair, as it is a light weight product
the brand of the product just depends on what you want to spend
work your product into dry hair, if you use it on wet hair there will be too much weight and your hair will ultimately fall no matter what you try

Is it out of style for men to use hair products like gel?
I know gel sounds extremely '90s, but I know that a lot of guys use stuff for their hair. I'm 20 and I would really like to change my hairstyle a bit, because it is very boring now...I don't do anything with it. So, what do you think? Is gel too '90s? Is there something more common these days?Is it out of style for men to use hair products like gel?
hun i dnt think dat gel will ever get old! but jus dnt go 2 ova bored! nd it judt depends on wat kinda hair u have...
if you have lyk a shortish style wit sum bangs den you can lyk kinda spike ur bangs...but only if there chopped short nd nt lyk long....
if its mediumish den find a look in a magazine for a gewd style.....nd lyk dnt do anything too dramatic........
