What is a good hair style for balding men?

i am a 20 year old guy who is losing hair on the top of the head and crown. i use get a buzz cut but i have grown it out for about 9 months now. it is currently kind of long and dont like it because you can see my scalp when the wind blows it. and it also hasnt been cut since May 2009, so it is starting to get into my eyes. so i think it is time to cut it but would like something other than a buzz cut. the buzz cut use to look ok to me but others use to make negative comments, thinking i look better with longer hair. i hate the fact that i am losing my hair so i would like a hair cut that will make it look like i have not lost anything or something close. another thing is that my hair on the top is somewhat thin so i think they might not be anything i can do. so if anyone has suggestion i really appreciate it.What is a good hair style for balding men?
i would say that the longer the hair the more obvious the bald spot will be so definitely go with shorter cut.
