Hair Care products for men?

Okay So I recently started growing out my hair mainly because, Im a guy and once guys find a barber that they like its hard to change and being the fact that I'm at college its hard to get to him. But my hair is starting to grow and I like to run my fingers through my hair, but whenever I do that it, it sticks up and so I was wondering what I should use so, when I do run my fingers through my hair it will just fall back down? Any suggestions?Hair Care products for men?

My personal advice is if you like running your fingers through your hair - leave off the gel! I've had to use it for anew haircut and keep forgetting so I constantly have grubby feeling hands!Hair Care products for men?
If you want your hair to just fall down, use as few grooming products on it as possible. Use a conditioning shampoo and comb it using only water. If that makes your hair fly around more than you like, try using whatever you have been using, but just use less of it.
