What's the product to use for men's long hair?

Been looking at waxes, creams, and pomades, but I'm not sure. I'm looking for a good product that will defrizz and control a long men's hairstyle (just a bit shorter than what could be tied back). Want to create something that can look polished and professional. He used to use gel, but I think it might be drying out his hair, stylist agreed with me. A gel may dry out the hair, but unlikely if you are using the right product. There are so many different kinds, surely you can find a good one. With frizzy hair, you need moisture in the hair, not oil or wax. Use a good moisturizer that puts water in the hair.





For a good stiff coating on the hair, try a little sugar dissolved in water. Experiment until you get the right ';recipe';. When dry, the hair will stay in place, will have some shine (until you brush it), and washes out easily. You can also make a ';gel'; by boiling a little flax seeds in water. Again, find the right consistency for you. Or you can find many commercial products on the market that work just as well. Why not get the hairstylist to recommend something.
