How long does it take african american hair to grow for women?

I am an african american woman and I recently cut all my hair off and started over and its been almost a month and a half and my hair is about 2 1/2 inches long. I use Carol's Daughter products and they are GREAT!!!! They help your hair grow faster and healthier too.
