Men...Why do most men prefer long hair for women?

I have wondered that myself. My husband always tells me I can get my hair cut anyway I want but keep the length! lol


My hairdresser said alot of men are like that so you are right.


I think it goes back to the cave men days when men dragged us women around and dominated us...then in christianity when they say the bible said not to cut your hair men associated it with more submissive behavior...I think are threatened by women with shorter hair...they tend to be more independent thinkers and less traditional. Some men though appreciate that! Heck the number one hairstyle for 2008 is beckhams!Men...Why do most men prefer long hair for women?
Long hair is more attractive and it seems to be a built-in emotive response that many men naturally feel towards women.





But it's also cultural since in the middle ages it wasn't uncommon for wealthy middle-class merchants and aristocrat males to wear their hair long (or wear wigs). Short hair was for the rough, the uneducated and the working class back then.Men...Why do most men prefer long hair for women?
I like long hair on women because it's sexy, sensual, and it just plain looks nice. I want my woman to look like a woman, I don't want anyone to look at us from behind and have to guess which is the man ! Some women look to masculine with the short hair !
Ha, that is not true. I had long hair down to my waist that was very beautiful and my husband said it was too long and to please cut it. Now it's shoulder length and I get more compliments * from hubby anyway.
i don't think that is true, it depends on girls head shapes whether they look good with short or long hair, like for example i think Rhianna looked better when she had hair to her shoulders, it looked way better than her long hair
i think it has to do with submissiveness. had a bf who loved my hair and so he liked it long.


i keep it long even though i'm not with him.

Men like feminine women. I know i do. I love my girls with long hair. It just gives them this elegant sexy vibe. All the better to hair flip with!
My hubby says its so u have something to hang onto in the sack. I have always had short hair so I think he's talking out of his butt!
I believe it looks good and real. I know you cant style much with long hair, but it sure is fun to have it pulled every so often...
it's one of those predisposed things. women belong in the kitchen making cookies and they must have long hair. but then again there are alot of men who either don't care or prefer short hair
cuz it looks more feminine, when girls start cutting they never stop, then they look like a man
so you can pull it. hahaha.
