Hair between chin and collarbone is medium hair, and hair that is chin or above is short hair.What's you definition of long hair (for a woman)?
for a grown woman long hair would be about 3-5 inches past your shoulder - for a kid long hair would be about 5-10 inches past you shoulder for a teen about 7-8 and a young woman from about 20-30 than about the same as a teen or even a little shorter like 5-8 inches past the shoulder and for someone past the age of fifty long hair would be like 3 inches past your shoulder

in my opinion, a definition for long hair (in my own words), long hair for women is (can be) when your hair reaches about 5-8 inches below your neck and longer. so that, my dear, is suggested as long hair. have a good day :)
For me, Long hair is from the middle of the back and down.





But really, Long hair is from shoulders and down.


Short hair is like a pixie, and medium is like from chin to top of shoulders.
