Why do men like for women to have long hair rather than short hair?

Because generally, it's more feminine and attractive - especially if you're talking about the long, sexy, voluminous kind you see in stars such as Beyonce. It's got a sexy, uninhibited look to it that most guys really like, as opposed to controlled, stay-in-place short hair. Of course, if it goes does down to your butt, then that would be too weird so longer isn't ALWAYS better :P





And GENERALLY, guys don't want girls to look masculine in any way, or else it creeps them out. They, say, don't wanna be going out with a girl with hair shorter than theirs! It's might make them feel less manly.





But of course, every guy is different. I'm sure they don't consciously think of these things most of the time, like if they're thinking about dating a girl or something - it's just one of those things that they might react to!





Oh, and by the way, just because a lot of guys think long hair is sexy doesn't mean you have to have long hair to attract guys - a lot do love shorter hair! It's always more flattering to have a hairstyle that suits your style and face shape, among other things.

Many men like many different things, however, I do like long hair more than short hair on a woman.


It doesn't mean I wouldn't date a woman with short hair though.

Longer hair? I would think that their favortie models and actresses that they see have long hair and it's all part of their fantasy. My friend syas he likes it because he likes how it drapes over her chest if its down.lol
Men are programmed to prefer long hair because it is a visual sign of good health in a potential mate.
my hubby likes it because it makes me look more feminine....
