I have wondered that myself. My husband always tells me I can get my hair cut anyway I want but keep the length! lol


My hairdresser said alot of men are like that so you are right.


I think it goes back to the cave men days when men dragged us women around and dominated us...then in christianity when they say the bible said not to cut your hair men associated it with more submissive behavior...I think are threatened by women with shorter hair...they tend to be more independent thinkers and less traditional. I like long hair on women because it's sexy, sensual, and it just plain looks nice. I want my woman to look like a woman, I don't want anyone to look at us from behind and have to guess which is the man ! Some women look to masculine with the short hair !
Ha, that is not true. I had long hair down to my waist that was very beautiful and my husband said it was too long and to please cut it. Now it's shoulder length and I get more compliments * from hubby anyway.
i don't think that is true, it depends on girls head shapes whether they look good with short or long hair, like for example i think Rhianna looked better when she had hair to her shoulders, it looked way better than her long hair
i think it has to do with submissiveness. had a bf who loved my hair and so he liked it long.

for the glow try jergens lotion i forget what its called. i think natural glow. it has a tiny bit of sunless tanner in it. it works good and dont turn u orange. garnier fructis has special shampoo/conditioner for long hair.What is a good shampoo and conditioner for women with long hair?

Pantene Pro- Ve. It sometimes comes in packs with conditioner and shampoo. But make sure you pick the right type,(There are different types for different hair.
The girls in my high school used to have good results with MANE N TAIL. I love the DOVE products not too grease for lotion and shampoo and condit. Good luck.

I french braid my hair. I've been doing it a long time and can do it in a minute or less. If you decide that's what you want to do start practicing now. In basic, I braided my hair at night and put a pantyhose on it. ripped off the pantyhose in the am while running out the door.

I have no experience with the military, I work outdoors in logging and I have had the pleasure of working around women in this proffession and also in triathlons and ultra running. The norm for women with long hair is to braid it. On my personal opinion I also think it is sexy
French braids, corn rows (yes, they are authorized-check Army Regulation 670-1), or a ponytail. Lots of good gel will help too. If you wear your hair in a ponytail, put gel on the entire ponytail (roots to end). That will help keep your braid/ponytail together.
It will grow back.

In general....the hair of the head is easier to care for. Hair on the head is also used as adornment, and self expression.





Hair on other parts of the body tend to retain the body oils and odors associated with each body part it grows from. Its a given that ones natural body odor/funk is NOT appealing to the majority of people you must socialize with.





To maintain a pleasant odor throughout the day, many people prefer to shave. In doing so....the skin will retain the smells of powders, deodorants and perfumes they prefer to wear. Its a matter of ease and convenience for the owner of the body hair.





Our culture (usa) teaches us that good hygiene practices are admirable qualities. How one grooms their hair is a reflection of their practices.





One might ask.....if he/she doesnt trim....do they even wash ? What else about themselves do they not care about.?

well... some men are attracted to that type of hairstyle because it looks feminine. but nowadays, it doesn't matter that much anymore. some women have long and wavy locks and men still go for it. it really depends on how you carry your hairstyle.
men seem to like straight hair more than curly hair, but hair doesnt matter as long as you have a pretty face.

There isn't really any requirement for hair length. The best look should be one that flatters her face shape. If you don't know what that is, these are a couple of good links to help you figure it out.

But past the age of 25-30, I think that women look better with hair that's no longer than the bottom of her shoulder blades. Waist length hair looks better on young women and girls. While this is just my opinion, too long hair is also harder to take care of and style. Plus, the ends can very easily be damaged (split ends, breakage, dried, etc...) so it tends to look sloppy. Shoulder length hair is very easy to care for, can be worn in many different styles, looks more mature, and the right cut can maximize a woman's good features.



As for boots, a square toe is never truly ';in.'; Square toes, while comfortable, are very unflattering on a woman's feet. They make her legs look shorter and heavier. They make a woman's foot look boxy. For a more mature look, an elongated toe is always better. it depends on their job ,main field of expertise, and personalty for example a woman doctor is better viewed if she has short hair.

What are you more comfortable with? If you want a change, cut your hair, or just have it cut in a new style. Maybe change the color. If you do cut it, it will grow.
